Eighth National Mathematics Day Celebrations on 21-12-2019

             On 21-12-2019 Eighth National Mathematics Day is celebrated by inviting Dr. P. Subhashini, Principal (FAC), Ramachandrapram as a Chief Guest. The Principal Dr. C. Krishna presided over this function and he remembered the history of the internationally renowned Mathematician Sri Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan. The Lecturer In-charge of Department of Mathematics Dr. V. Anantha Lakshmi tells objectives of conducting this programme. The chief guest explained the students about the importance of Mathematics especially the works of Sri Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan and motivated all the students. All the faculty members in both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Statistics are involved in this function. Total 123 students are participated in this function.

            In this connection Quiz, Talent test, Poster and Power Point Presentations are conducted to the students at school and college level. The prizes to the winners are distributed on National Mathematics Day Celebrations.

            The principal Dr. C. Krishna appriciated the Department of Mathematics for arranging this lecture and students for utlizing this opportunity successfully.
