The Department of Commerce arranged a Guest lecturer by Jai Prakash Narayana, IAS (Retd) , Founder Loksatha, being part of Surajya Yathra. Total 220 Students of B.Com, B.Voc (RM), B.Sc & B.A. students attended and benefited by the programme.
BRIEF REPORT
Janam Kosam Jaya Prakash Yathra “Surajya Yathra” organized by Matchi Raju, Kakinada. After receiving Phone call we arranged the program on 20th September, 2017. After receiving him we take him to principal’s chamber. After having interaction and press meet in the chamber, we moved to LCD Hall – II.
The program was initiated by opening remarks of our college principal Dr. C. Krishna. Later the program proceedings were handed over to the speaker. He mainly focused on six aspects: right education, right livelihood, right kind of food etc., He covered the speech on many other aspects like role of higher education, providing job opportunities etc., He asked students have the nature of questioning the rulers. He asked us to join in Youth for better india.com, citizen for better india.com. He responded to the questions posed by various categories of people. Vice Principal Sri. T. Vara Prasad proposed vote of thanks.
