Department of HORTICULTURE conducted a Extension activity programme on the uses of medicinal plants on 17-9-2019 in P.R. GOVERNMENT JUNIOUR COLLEGE , Kakinada to create awarnes among the intermediate students.

                        This programme was initiated by HOD of Botany & Microbiology Smt. P.SARA and Lecturer in-charge of   Horticulture Smt.Kalpana Thirakala .Under this programme Quiz was conducted among the students . Among 30 students have partispated in this programme .Prizes were also distributed after the commencement of result .

Co-faucultyfrom the department of Botany and Microbiology and Horticulture have also partispated in this programme .

                        The main aim of this progamme is to create awareness among the students on medicinal uses of plants .
