Admission Process:

Institution ensure wide publicity and transparency in the admission process

Admission norms for the programmes are as follows:

The entire admission process takes place through Conveners of different course combinations monitored by a Coordinator for admission.
a) Marks obtained in qualifying exam.
b) Reservation polices of state Govt.

Students selection for admission to the courses:

a) General : College follows the pattern prescribed by the university and Governing Body (in case of modification) Application in prescribed proforma is received and the merit list tabulates accordingly. Selected students are sent interview memos and admitted to the college.
b) Admission committee composition: Principal as chairman, as per the admission norms and follows reservation policy of state government. Students are given admission based marks obtained in Intermediate exam and following the rule of reservation. The Principal meets the selected students to assess, whether they are agreeing for goals and objectives of the college and willingness to adhere to the moral cultural and ethical code prescribed by the college and holds a meeting along with their parents before admission
c) Vocational: The college runs career oriented courses with the assistance of UGC. Students are admitted on the basis of merit, giving-preference to disadvantaged sections wherever necessary. The aptitude towards the chosen is tested informally through interaction with the student.

Equal opportunity in admission process is ensured by adhering to the rule of reservation as per State Govt. policy

b) Women: 33% seats are reserved for women. It is ensured that a 33% women are admitted in each group.
c) Differently Abled: Necessary help and equipment provided besides personal counseling.
d) Economically-weaker Sections of the society: Special care is taken during admissions in guiding them to choose the courses.
e) Athletes & Sports Persons: Concession in exams fee and other incentives provided to selected students i.e. parentless children, single girl child and meritorious / high achievers in various competitions at National level.


Tuition Fees :
Rs. 250 per semester for BA / B.Com / B.Sc. Special Fees :
a) Rs. 1200/- per annum for BA / B.Com. Students.
b) Rs. 1500/- per annum for B.Sc. Students.
c) Fee payable to university Rs. 567/- per year for BA / B.Com / B.Sc.Students
Additional Special Fees :
In addition to the above tuition and special fees, students of under mentioned courses are required to pay additional special fees as below.
a) B.Com. Computer Applications Rs.3000/- per year (Restructured Course)
b) B.Com. (Regular) Rs. 2,300/- payable Rs. 1,300/- in the First Year and Rs.1,000/- in the Second Year.
c) B.Sc. (Computer Science) Rs. 3,000/- p.a (Restructured Course)
d) B.Sc. (Petrochemicals) Rs. 3,000/- p.a (Restructured Course)
e) B.Sc. Bio-Technology Rs. 3,000/- p.a. (Restructured Course)
A Voluntary Contribution of a minimum of Rs. 20/- is made towards C.P.D.C. Fund.
Examination Fees :
As per rules and regulations of Andhra University and guidelines of the Executive Committee.
